Attack of the "Jim's Killer Office Squirrels"

Attack of the "Jim's Killer Office Squirrels"

I kinda lost my voice making this movie... so you better watch it.
My vocal cords don't have the endurance that Reub's have.

my new threadless submission

my new sub for the Red Cross loves Threadless contest is up.
Looking at it now I wish I had taken more time on the lettering... I didn't want to use a font because I wanted it to look handdrawn... it looks kinda crappy though. Oh well. So it goes.

Ice Age 2

Good Morning world.
I forgot to mention that I saw Ice Age 2. I figure if I report on the many movies I see my blog might actually have some content and may even be useful...k... I guess if people really want reviews they could go to rottentomatoes or something... but not for a review from me.

Anyhow... Ice Age is one of my all time favorite movies... so I was really excited to see this one. However, due to some communication problems with coworkers I didn't get to see it until late Sunday night. Obviously the movie is a sequal and therefore lacks the originality of the first one. I guess what I mean by that is the main characters, especially Sid, are some of the best characters ever... mostly just 'cuz Sid is so stinkin' funny looking. The new characters weren't nearly as good. The opposums were just sorta like annoying Saturday morning cartoon characters. However, I'd be lying if I said I never laughed at them.

The humor is probably more short-fuse and slapstick than in the original, but it is a funny movie. I think most people like Scrat (the saber-tooth-squirrel) the best. Quite frankly seeing any creature stick his teeth into ice gives me the willies, so I have a hard time watching him.

My favorite part of the movie was the dialogue between Manny and Ellie.... that and a tribe of pygmy sloths.... but I think I've said too much already. Just go see it.

I'm hoping to catch 16 Blocks yet sometime this week... we only got that movie for one week. Anyone seen that one yet? Is it worth the time?

Photo of a Rock Band

Operation Killjoy and The Real Fakers played on Saturday night. It was frickin awesome. For some reason I didn't take any pictures of the Fakers... they move too fast or something...
I will be very surprised (and quite upset) if the Real Fakers don't win the Battle of the Bands in Sioux City this coming weekend (it is a contest isn't it?)

I just read an article in a magazine about procrastinators. I think it will change my life. We'll see...
